How long should I leave the roll mattress before use?
Your mattress is compressed and vacuum packed for ease of delivery. When you unpack your mattress, do not be alarmed by its initial shape. Please be assured your mattress will recover its full shape and size in approximately 9 hours. We recommend however leaving the mattress for 24 hours prior to use.
Do roll mattress memory foam mattresses and memory foam toppers smell
Yes - at first. When new, memory foam can give off a slight chemical smell, which is completely harmless. You may wish to leave it to air for a couple of days before using it. Some people are more sensitive to the smell than others. After 2-3 weeks the odour will disappear altogether.
Do I need to turn a memory foam mattress?
The mattress should not be turned over. Although rotating the mattress from the bottom of the bed to the top is recommended from time to time.
How long will it take to get used to a memory foam mattress?
Our experience is that it takes some people 2-3 days to get use to sleeping on memory foam, but after this relatively short period, they love it! Some particular neck or back problems however require a little while longer to feel the benefit. Your body needs to adjust to the new support during the night. Therefore, if you initially feel a little discomfort, it is just your body readjusting your muscles and structure to where they should be.
Can I use an electric blanket with a memory foam mattress?
We do not recommend using electric blankets with the mattress as the direct heat over extended periods may damage it.
Can the visco elastic foam ( roll mattress )be washed?
No the foam should not be washed. If an accident does occur, the foam can be gently hosed down. Please remove any excess water and dry outside in the sun.
